Michael Hunter

Michael Hunter died in 2007, from lung cancer. 

Michael Benwood Hunter, 53, of Dallas Township, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 17, 1954, in Washington, D.C., he was a son of Anne (Battaile) Hunter, of Bethesda, Md., and the late Oscar Benwood Hunter. Michael was raised in Bethesda and attended the local schools. (His mother passed away in 2012.)
Michael was employed by Pulverman’s in Dallas.
Michael’s greatest love in life was for his family, especially for his wife, daughter, son, mother, brother and sisters.
He had many passions in life including jazz and blues-style music, taking pictures, ballroom dancing with his wife and spending quality time with his beloved dogs. Michael was also an avid Washington Redskins fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Hunter, of Dallas Township; daughter, Jennifer, at home; son, Michael, of Plains; sisters, Anne Hunter-Ganley, of Maryland, Ellen Hunter-Rainey, of Idaho, Margaret Hunter, of Montana, Sidney Hunter, of Colorado, and Patricia Wilson, of Georgia; brother, William Hunter, of Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews.
